Today, I’m going to tell you the story of my life with a page from my diary. It’s a story about a girl who was strong and confident but her scars made her weak. YES! The scars from the past hold you back even if you wanted to move on. So, let’s begin this chapter from her story.

….So to this day, you are in search of yourself. Your depth. Your inquisitiveness. And you learn your strengths. But wonder what took you so long?? The Scars!!
Yes, they defined you to a point where you chained yourself and stood still doing nothing. Something so strong held you behind bars that you forgot…This is not what should define you!

Let the time-wheel rotate anti-clockwise.
What do you see??
A hurt individual, so bruised, so tamed that made her all she ever didn’t want to be.
She has known and tasted pain so much so that she never wanted to be the reason for someone’s pain.
Fearing thyself and in the fear to lose commitments and everything along….she took to bleed but never let know people associated with her.
She now scares everyone in and around, loosing on every loved one. She scares people and their motives the truth being revealed.

Two sides of the coin

Until one day, he came as a storm unexpected to whirl everything within, to bring her out of her own created tsunami ….pouring out so loud that now, she had to begin her own search of innumerable uncertainties.
But this was not where he would have stopped. Backed with everything he ever had to give her, he chose to be her sound in real. A shout. A scream. so loud that no man now could clutch her to speak what is a fact. The fearless!
Pretty easy it seems, right?

But every coin has two sides…..
To her now was a battle with herself. A storm she carried within; that could blur all visuals of what he is trying…The walls she created around only made her weak to the knees to believe, He is for real. They are for real. Even the strongest of man needs motivation to upclimb…
…….and to him he only feared losing her because of  HER!

Scars that won’t fade away

Till one day he said, “Show me your scars”
“But why?”, she asked quizzically.
“I want to see how many times you needed me and I wasn’t there”, he whispered. A tear rolling down his cheek.
‘Let’ and ‘assuming’ was what he held only for the unreal. He wouldn’t let these two create loopholes in what they shared and still lists down to share in the future.

To him they weren’t just scars. They were the demons she fought at 3; am and her insecurities, her deepest fears and her lonely nights. They are the insults she received and the emotions she can’t contain. They are a part of her and what she had become.
A real man can’t stand seeing his woman hurt. He is careful with his decisions and actions so that he never has to be responsible for her pain. In a relationship you need somebody who’s gonna call you out, not someone who’s gonna let everything slide, You need someone who doesn’t want to live without you. But can. Somebody who is stronger with you.

P.S.- She is a writer my friend, her ink flows when her tears don’t.
